Haverford College, founded in 1833 by Orthodox Quakers, the campus is made up of mostly stone buildings reflecting Quaker and Colonial architecture. The Magill Library, closed at the end of the Fall 2017 semester to prepare for a major renovation which included replacement slate for one of the original buildings and slate for the addition.
